Cureader‘s challenge

To offer a mindful alternative to conventional social media, our goal was to provide a responsible and chronological way to browse meaningful content without ads. We prioritized simplicity and clarity for a calm browsing experience, aligning with familiar iOS interfaces. Continuous user outreach and interviews were crucial for informing ongoing updates.

Cureader‘s solution

We built a mobile app using React Native and Expo, incorporating multiple iterations and improvements based on community feedback. The app emphasizes accessibility and maintains user privacy, utilizing Supabase for backend management. It leverages RSS and Atom feeds to provide chronological, ad-free content, allowing users to favorite top stories, browse different content categories, and explore top community feeds.
